What we are reading

It has been a while since I wrote a post on what we are all reading.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, Ten Little Fingers and Ten little Toes by Mem Fox and a bed time story, Time for Bed by Mem Fox are my toddlers favourite books that we read together. These same books were my older child’s favourite stories when  she was younger. We have had all three of these books for almost four years now and they are still holding together. The first two books my eldest now uses as early reader books.

Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge are also Mem Fox books that we were given as gifts. These two books I have been reading to my eldest either during the day or before bed.

I am currently trying to re-read The life-changing magic of tidying up by Marie Kondo. The first time I tried to read it I ended up getting busy and stopped reading it for quite some time. I think its one of those books you probably want to read it all the way though first and go back as needs be. The book Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson I have noticed pop up a lot on blogs as a recommended book to read. Should be an interesting read.

For a review on both of these books, Jess from A Thoughtful Life goes into both of these books in more detail including a series of blog posts on Zero Waste.
