Gratitude today for laughter and joy. This afternoon I saw my children find joy in simple play; flying a paper plane. My eldest asked me If I could show her how to make one. I hadn’t made one in a long time, so I looked up a video tutorial on YouTube and my daughter and I followed the instructions together step by step . To add a bit of colour, my children chose to use the paper from a picture they both painted the day before. Once they were made my children chose to fly them outside. What then followed was lots and lots of excited squeals and laughter. Often simple play is the best kind of play.
