Yesterday morning went to the library to get out some books, in the afternoon caught up with family and last night we switched off our lights for Earth Hour. Today we spent a good portion of the day at an animal sanctuary and had a picnic lunch. It was a nice, relatively slow weekend. I also spent some time clearing out our storage space where I have been keeping our rotated ‘Montessori-type’ materials. It was a big step for me as I decided to part with many of our previously much loved materials we have used over the years and including my Montessori books. I felt it was time to pass them onto someone else whom I am sure can also gets lots of use out of them.

Next Weeks Posts;
- Montessori ideas at 6 years of age (‘going out’) and my thoughts on utilising our local library as a family.
- Montessori ideas at 6 years of age- personal word dictionary. Something that my newly six year old has been wanting to do at home.
I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.
