Hi there, I hope you all had a lovely week and enjoyed the recent Father’s Day weekend. Our week was made up of a few school events, a couple of children’s Birthday parties (including a magic show and face painting), some at home DIY projects, some gardening with the kids (recently planted a Blueberry bush and lots of flowers to attract bees), had a family catch up on Father’s Day and also had some lovely quality family time outdoors.
Both of my children tried an indoor version of mini golf for the first time and Miss 7 got to see and learn all about some Australian Animals including a Tawny Frogmouth and Shingleback Lizard and also got the chance to hold a baby possum. She was absolutely thrilled.
Miss 7 worked on a ‘sandpit building’ project with her dad, using a second-hand raised garden bed and some old pavers to create something special for her younger brother.
My youngest, tried his hand at cardboard construction. This is something that one could easily make at home. These activities, including many others, were set up for the Children’s House kids (3-6 year age group).
